Membership
We love welcoming new members to the Canterbury Potters Association. To help you get the most out of your membership, we require applicants to have some prior experience working with clay.
If you’ve already taken a class with us or elsewhere, you’re all set. If you haven’t worked with clay before, we recommend signing up for one of our beginner classes first. This will give you the skills and confidence to work independently and safely in our clubrooms.
Nine reasons to join us
What we ask
Annual Subscription
Members’ subscriptions are due between 1 April and 31 June. (Unpaid subs at 1 July incur a $10 late payment fee.)
Wednesday is club day (starts 10am)
This is a good time for members to come in and use the facilities to work, potter around and catch up with others. Come in and use the wheels, slab roller, moulds, extruder, glaze room and library without the tutors around!
