Our Classes
The Canterbury Potters Association offers small group classes for all skill levels, taught by experienced tutors.
Equipment includes electric wheels, slab roller, clay extruder, spray booth, and firings in electric, gas, and raku kilns. Beginners learn core techniques, while experienced potters develop personal styles. Weekly firings incur a small fee. Materials are available for purchase.
Children's classes run during term time, with possible holiday sessions. Students are encouraged to attend the Association’s workshops and lectures on pottery history and practice.
